Executive functioning skills help us navigate the world effectively. Skills include planning, organization, managing schedules, self-control, and goal setting. I also provide executive functioning services to children and adults. My goal is to help children develop habits to achieve academic and professional success by using executive functioning strategies. I work to enhance individuals’ metacognitive skills, remediate specific skill deficits, and address psychological issues secondary to organizational/academic challenges. With adults, I support individuals gain the skills necessary for productive and fulfilling lives/careers: planning, goal setting, time management, initiation, and effective communication. For children, I provided academic consultation for students struggling to demonstrate their academic potential by developing test taking strategies, coping skills, and stress management.
Goals of working together can look like:

- Providing therapeutic supports to enhance confidence as learner/student/professional/organizer
- Teaching strategies to use personal tendencies as assets for success
- Using formal note taking strategies in class/meetings to practice active listening and learning
- Self-advocation to others to demonstrate his commitment to learning and investment in his future
